All dogs and cats are required to be up to date with vaccinations – ie – this needs to be done within the year from date of last vaccination or the date stated by vet on the medical records.
We do not require the kennels cough vaccination for dogs but if you have had your dog vaccinated you must leave three weeks between the vaccination and boarding.
Vaccination certificates/veterinary documentary evidence needs to be brought in on every occasion.
FOOD/MEDICATION
Any special dietary requirements should be clearly marked with the pet’s name and quantity to be given.
We do not accept food/water bowls unless they are slow feeders.
Medication also needs to be clearly marked with name of medicine and dosage and where possible please keep medication in original packaging.
There is a small extra charge for giving medication.
CATS
Cats must be brought to the cattery in secure cat carriers with collars removed.
SHARING ACCOMODATION
For customers who have more than one pet, if you would like them to share accommodation we are happy to accommodate that but if necessary for any reason we may decide to separate them.
VETERINARY CARE
In the event of your pet becoming unwell, we will contact you or your designated person in the first instance. We will then make every effort to contact your registered veterinary surgeon. If your vet is unavailable we will contact a local vet who operate a 24 hour service.
